Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional who will be supporting end-to-end operations for Commodity and Structured Trade Finance transactions while ensuring robust collateral and risk management.

Mandatory Skill-set:

  • Degree/Diploma in Banking, Commerce or Information Systems-related field;
  • Must have at least 5-8 years of hands-on experience in middle or front office roles within Commodity Trade Finance or trading firms;
  • Familiarity with various trade finance structures such as inventory-backed lending, tank storage finance, borrowing base facilities, and revolving credit lines;
  • Must have experience in international trade documentation standards and practices;
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint—for daily operations and reporting tasks.

Desired Skill-set:

  • Exposure to Banking Industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee collateral arrangements for Commodity and Structured Trade Finance transactions, ensuring compliance;
  • Conduct mark-to-market valuations on collateral and monitor cash margin requirements, following up on any shortfalls or top-up needs;
  • Promptly identify and escalate any emerging risks related to assets or repayment sources to Relationship and Credit Risk Managers;
  • Perform daily price validations to support accurate risk and exposure assessments;
  • Participate in system testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing, for new features and enhancements;
  • Conduct system connectivity and functionality tests during new rollouts or Business Continuity Planning exercises;
  • Assist with records management, including document archiving and general administrative duties.
