This position involves:
- Crafting policies to ensure Singapore remains at the forefront of anti-scam and other defensive network measures across all infocomm/internet channels.
- Collaborating with government agencies and industry to implement mitigation measures against scam calls and messages.
- Engaging telco regulators and facilitating international cooperation to address scams at the source.
- Performing horizon scanning of anti-scam developments and analyzing their impact on IMDA’s policies.
- Advising other IMDA units on policy positions and new policy areas in telecom and media related to scams.
- Organizing and providing secretariat support for workgroups and forums.
Job Requirements
- Background in Computer Science, Social Sciences, Mass Communications, or Legal Studies.
- At least 2 years of experience in operations or technology policy roles in the private or public sectors.
- Interest in scam prevention and knowledge of telco operations and internet service providers.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and writing skills.
- Experience in Public Policy, Horizon Scanning, or Strategic Futures is advantageous.
