What the role is:

(LTA-TRO) TRAFFIC OPERATOR EXECUTIVE


What you will be working on:

Join our dynamic team at the Traffic Operations Command Centre (OCC), where you will be at the frontline of managing real-time traffic operations and responding to live incidents. This role is suited for candidates with operational awareness who thrive in fast-paced environments and can remain composed while adhering to established protocols.

  • Monitor real-time traffic incidents via the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) platforms & sensors

  • Detect, flag & escalate traffic incidents accurately & promptly

  • Monitor critical systems that enable OCC operations

  • Liaise & coordinate response efforts with relevant internal stakeholders and government agencies

  • Implement & support contingency plans during incidents

  • Participate in periodic contingency exercises and conduct 'After Action Reviews' (AARs) to enhance operational readiness

As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.


What we are looking for:

  • Diploma in any discipline preferred, especially in fields related to engineering, operations, or transportation

  • Willingness to perform shift work, including weekends & public holidays

  • Possess strong situational awareness with effective communication & teamwork

  • Ability to stay composed & make sound decisions under pressure

  • Prior experience in a Command Centre or similar real-time operational environment is advantageous
