
Temporary Events Admin, Special Projects

Science Centre Singapore is seeking an organized and proactive Temporary Events Admin to support our Special Projects and Travelling Exhibitions team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the smooth execution of events by managing registration, coordinating with participants, and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about event management and education to contribute to meaningful, engaging science events.
Responsibilities
- Manage event registration processes and maintain accurate records.
- Collate competition results promptly and accurately.
- Liaise with participants and team managers to coordinate event logistics and communication.
- Schedule team arrivals to ensure timely and smooth event flow.
- Assist in the onsite running and coordination of events.
- Collect and compile feedback from participating teams for post-event evaluation.
- Perform post-event administrative duties, including documentation and reporting.
- Undertake any other duties as required to ensure the successful running of events.
Requirements
- Prior experience in event administration or coordination is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and flexible approach to handling varied tasks and last-minute changes.
- Basic proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office).
- Willingness to be onsite during events and contribute to hands-on event management.
