The role
We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Regional Media Manager to join our Multi-division CDMO team focusing on SAPMENA region. The Regional Media Manager will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and optimizing media strategies across multiple markets within the assigned region. This role requires a strong understanding of diverse media landscapes, consumer behaviors, and cultural nuances across the region, with the ability to drive consistent brand messaging and achieve marketing objectives across various countries. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, proven experience in regional media campaign management, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with local country teams, regional and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Media Strategy Development :
- Develop the media investment framework and guidelines by category- full funnel media (including Retail Media)
- Identify key regional media opportunities, platforms, and emerging trends to optimize reach and effectiveness across diverse countries.
- Conduct thorough competitive analysis within the region to understand market dynamics and identify strategic differentiators.
- Define regional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and consistent measurement frameworks for all media campaigns across markets.
- Identify overarching trends and drive cross-market optimization strategies to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Facilitate sharing of best practices and learnings across markets within the region to foster continuous improvement.
- Help develop a regional frame to show media impact on business. Help define optimal platform allocation, media mix and return on investment (ROI)
- Work closely with Brand, Ecommerce and Content teams to ensure media plans are integrated with compelling ad formats and content.
- Manage relationships with media agencies, media & ecommerce partners, ad tech vendors, and other external partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and adherence to contractual agreements.
- Act as a central point of contact for media-related matters within the region, liaising effectively with local country teams, and global media counterparts.
- Help drive global/regional JBPs & feedback on new/emerging partnership elements
- Evaluate agency performance, provide feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement, measure ROI, and inform future media strategies.
- Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Proactively identify and champion new regional media channels, ad formats, and measurement tools to maintain a competitive edge and drive innovation.
- Lead regional workshops and training sessions to upskill local teams on media best practices and new capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in media planning and buying, with a significant focus on regional or multi-market media management.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing successful integrated media campaigns across a diverse range of countries within a specific region.
- Strong understanding of media metrics, analytics, and reporting tools, with experience in consolidating data from multiple markets.
- Proven experience with social media advertising platforms (Tiktok, META & Google), Retail media (Amazon, Shopee, Lazada) and Paid Search (Google & On Platform) in a regional context.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and cross-cultural presentation skills.
- Ability to manage complex regional projects, prioritize effectively, and navigate cultural nuances in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from various sources into actionable regional insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
