Payments Partnership Business Development Manager

This position is responsible for building, managing and enabling financing programs in South East Asia for a Tech MNC. A highly demanding role with the feel of a startup environment that will help enable sales through industry leading partners and financial structuring. We are seeking a high energy financial services professional to lead business development and program management the organization in South East Asia based in Singapore. You will be responsible for leading, creating and delivering executive-level strategic initiatives to build and expand the programme's impact globally. Description Daily proactive discussions with financing partners are a necessity, consistently working to build and improve the infrastructure to further integrate into the organization's strategy and go-to-market as well as supporting creative financing solutions to complex sales challenges. Your ability to influence financing partners to engage with them and develop, implement, and run financing programs. Executive presence is crucial as you will be responsible for presenting to senior leaders within the organization and its partners. By developing a strong partnership with financing partners, sales teams and cross functional teams you will: Ensure consistent global capabilities of financing partners across 30 countries to ensure an excellent customer service experience and maintain a constructive relationship with all third-party partners Managing relationships with financing partners Identify and understand challenges faced by sales teams to effectively capture attention and increase penetration Take responsibility for partner relationships and work effectively with other teams to ensure excellent execution on all financing programs Key qualifications 5+ years of experience in business development and program execution in either the financial services industry or business development roles, managing teams/projects across multiple countries An understanding of global financing practices and country specific legal/regulatory environments is critical Proven track record of structuring financing program agreements with major financial institutions and FinTech’s, Digital Wallets on a worldwide basis Experience with alternative credit scoring algorithms and payment methods and platforms Extensive knowledge of financial solutions including but not limited to leasing, financing, subscription, pay as you go, rental, forward trade-in Experience integrating financing programs with third-party resellers and managing upgrade cycles Ability to work with product and services sales teams, with a view towards sales enablement while maintaining profitability and risk control Strong financial and analytical skills is a must Experience with credit card installments and managing issuers Experience working with cross-functional internal teams and constituency groups on a worldwide bases will be key Excellent communication, people and project management skills are essential as is the ability to influence and perform the role of financing program ambassador at all times Ability to travel both domestically and internationally a minimum of 20% Please reach out to me on with your updated CV to apply.
