(6 Months Maternity Cover) Temp, Business Partner

What you will be working on:

You will be part of the Business Partner team, in Business Partnering:

1. Support and assist Chiefs and Division heads in implementing their re-organization plans and people efforts to ensure smooth re-structuring & business alignment within Group.
2. Support and assist in job redesign (Job Evaluation) for staff.
3. Implement robust recruitment and selection processes and perform the full recruitment life-cycle.
4. Preparation and administration of contracts for new hires and staff movement.
5. Coach line managers on HR policies and regulations.
6. Support BP lead in identifying & managing talent pool & in planning next generation succession for Group.
7. Provide performance management guidance to line-management.
8. Provide guidance to management on workforce planning and resource issues.
9. Attend ops meetings to understand workforce issues and provide guidance on business process review and workforce planning at division level.
10. Consult with the line on management of staff issues and provide HR guidance when appropriate.
11. Work closely with the groups to improve work environment and relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
12. Partner line management to engage employees on contract renewal/contract lapse/etc. conversations.
13. Facilitate engagement/counselling sessions to mediate employees.
14. Emergency responder to managers’ complaints, issues, questions, needs, etc.

Talent Acquisition Management:

1. Develop and identify external talent pool/sources for SportSG.
2. Review processes to streamline recruitment workflow.
3. Be the Point of Contact for all recruitment agencies under DA contract on any recruitment related queries.
4. Manage budget planning and execution of talent attraction/acquisition plans for SportSG.
5. Participate in the Career Fair.
6. Identify opportunities for branding SportSG as employer of choice.
7. Manage and maintain recruitment platforms and policies for SportSG.
8. Build and maintain different recruitment channels for job vacancies.

Other duties / ad hoc projects when assigned.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork, and take pride in providing excellent service to stakeholders. This individual should be a sport advocate by living an active lifestyle and staying active. The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• At least 5 years of experience in corporate HR (recruitment experience, with demonstrated success in full-cycle recruiting).
• Well-versed with Workday, HRP & recruitment platforms preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, TAFEP guidelines, and industrial relations.
• Demonstrate core values such as passion for sport, teamwork, and care for people.
• Strong time management and priorities management skills, independent.
• Good communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptable and able to multi-task and take on new HR initiatives/projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player but able to work independently.
• Creative and keen awareness of emerging trends.

Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. The level of offer will be commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful applicants will be offered a 6-month temporary contract.
