Overview Head, CIB Business Finance – Standard Chartered Singapore (ASEAN Cluster / Singapore) Provide financial analysis on CIB performance to senior management for the formulation and review of CIB business plans and strategies. Analyze cluster and country performance (financial, origination, franchise views), highlight risks and opportunities, and drive actions to ensure committed financial outcomes. Responsibilities Strategic – Partner with SG and ASEAN CIB business to drive business strategy, optimise returns, and deliver commercial outcomes. Business – Provide performance analytics and actionable insights, forecast financial performance, review income movements, manage monthly outlook and annual budget. Processes – Finance business partner on all finance matters, collaborate with FRM and SG ALCO on balance sheet, capital and liquidity, manage regular and ad‑hoc requests from stakeholders. People & Talent – Work closely with India team on monthly reporting and ad‑hoc reporting requests. Risk Management – Participate in risk discussions to facilitate communication of SG WRB’s risk matters. Governance – Ensure compliance with Group/IFRS accounting principles and regulatory requirements. Regulatory & Business Conduct – Embed highest standards of ethics, lead the SG/ASEAN cluster CIB business finance team to achieve conduct principles. Ideal Candidate 15+ years relevant finance experience at a leading global financial services firm, preferably banking. Qualified Accountant (CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent) or MBA (Finance) or other relevant qualification is preferred. Experience in corporate and investment banking products (transaction banking, lending/financing, financial markets). Good knowledge of international accounting standards, booking model and accounting treatments for banking products. Technical Competencies Business partnering and influencing. Performance management. Business and product knowledge (CIB). Balance sheet management. External reporting. Risk and control.
