Context

In Southeast Asia, a major economic region with a population approaching 700 million, Japanese companies have increasingly shown a strong desire to invest in recent years to capitalize on the region's growth. Each country within the region offers rich diversity, presenting challenges for Japanese companies expanding their businesses in Southeast Asia. The demand for consulting services to support clients' medium- to long-term strategies has risen significantly, and we are looking for a leader to help steer our strategy and operations consulting business in Southeast Asia alongside us.

You will be engaged in consulting services that involve planning, designing, implementing, and rolling out new approaches to drive transformation in Japanese companies (corporate divisions and business units) and enhance their competitive advantage.

In recent years, many companies have advanced company-wide operational transformations that go beyond ERP systems and specific organizational functions such as finance and HR, by leveraging technology. To support these transformations end-to-end, you will also be involved in tasks such as providing initial conceptualization support and serving as a PMO to execute these transformations.

Role and leadership

As a Manager, you will demonstrate leadership in a mixed team of local and JCS members, managing projects while using personal strengths to support project and client development.

Responsibilities and work you'll do

You will be engaged in planning, designing, implementing, and rolling out new approaches to drive transformation for Japanese companies (corporate divisions and business units) and enhance their competitive advantage.

Requirements

• Experience working in a consulting firm on the topics listed in the "Work you'll do" section
• Proven track record of contributing to securing projects through proposal activities
• Experience in leading projects
• Native level Japanese and business level English or native level English and business level Japanese
• Southeast Asia related consulting experience
