Junior Compliance and Technical Engineer Denko Lighting is a leading emergency lighting manufacturer in Singapore, dedicated to innovation and quality. We specialise in designing and manufacturing emergency lighting, exit signs and related products. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Compliance and Technical Engineer to join our team and support our existing engineering team in ensuring our products meet the highest technical and compliance standards. As a Junior Compliance and Technical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the product development lifecycle, from initial design to final certification. You will work closely with our engineering and quality assurance teams to perform tests, maintain documentation, and ensure all products including our emergency lighting solutions, adhere to relevant national and international standards. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning and conducting technical tests on lighting products, with a specific emphasis on emergency lighting performance and safety standards. Support the preparation of technical files and compliance documentation for product certifications, including those for SS 563 and other relevant emergency lighting standards. Work with the engineering team to resolve any non-compliance issues identified during testing. Help maintain and calibrate lab equipment and ensure a safe and organised testing environment. Stay up-to-date with changes in lighting standards and regulations, with a focus on updates to emergency lighting requirements. Who We Are Looking For NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A strong interest in product compliance, safety standards, and technical testing, particularly for emergency lighting systems. Familiarity with test equipment and data analysis is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
