Job Overview

The Aviation Industry Division aims to support the development and transformation of Singapore's air hub, ensuring its continued growth and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster partnerships through account management of key aviation stakeholders, especially in airport operations and ground handling.
  • Formulate and implement sector development policies, focusing on sustainability and decarbonisation of airside operations and ground handling.
  • Develop and evaluate grant proposals to support capability development and the adoption of sustainable technologies, aligning with the Singapore Sustainable Air Hub Blueprint.
  • Prepare policy papers and presentations to support strategic decisions.
  • Manage projects related to trials of decarbonisation solutions, including electrification, biofuels, renewable fuels, and hydrogen, involving industry stakeholders and regulators.
  • Collaborate with divisions within CAAS to monitor innovation impacts and grants.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related fields with 5-8 years of experience.
  • Preferably experience in public policy, industry development, or account management.
  • Self-motivated with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to handle complex issues and communicate effectively to decision-makers.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Team player capable of coordinating across public and private sectors.
  • Interest in sustainability topics.
Additional Information

Appointment level will depend on experience. Initial contract is 3 years, with potential for permanency or renewal based on performance.
