This is a business partner role where you will work closely with Tech Domain Leads to deliver accurate and timely insights that support executive decision‑making, while maintaining strong financial governance and controls. This is a business partner role where you will work closely with Tech Domain Leads to deliver accurate and timely insights that support executive decision‑making, while maintaining strong financial governance and controls. Key Responsibilities Partner with Tech Domain Leads to deliver cost targets. Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis of costs, headcount and recharges, highlighting trends and root cause of variances. Cost benefit analysis to support decision-making in new business cases or contracts. Ensure proper financial stewardship and alignment with corporate governance standards. Identify bottlenecks in current finance processes and take the initiative to automate and streamline them. Key Stakeholders Tech CFO Head of Tech Finance Tech Heads and Business Planning Managers Program & Technical leads for Technology Simplification T&O Finance Process Improvement Simplify, standardise and automate cost booking model and reporting framework across countries, business units and segments to reach a harmonised, centralised approach. Design target‑state solution and processes, prioritise items and deliver on critical path. Drive establishment of target operating model and internal capability for ongoing change initiatives. Engage senior leaders and stakeholders across Finance with strong communication. Resolve risk and issue with effective governance and project management standards. Build strong relationships with delivery partners, realise efficiencies and synergies across programmes. Ensure effective governance and written communication standards across all delivery responsibilities. Harmonise communication channels with senior finance leadership. Maintain high quality written and verbal communication skills. Technology And Data Adopt enterprise solutions through rationalising and consolidating applications to reduce technology and support cost. Establish a centralised cost‑driver database as a single source of data and lineage across refined cost keys, linking directly to the P&L. People Create capacity in cost teams to move from data collation/reconciliation to insightful analytics. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage senior leaders within Finance. Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and uphold the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. Embed highest standards of ethics, regulatory and business conduct across Standard Chartered Bank. Effectively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Other Responsibilities Embed group values within the T&O Finance BPO team and perform other responsibilities under Group policies. Skills And Experience Seasoned Finance Professional with a leading Global Financial Institution. Strong analytical, strategic mindset and performance‑management understanding. Experience working with senior management team and influencing stakeholders. Experience in strategic or finance related projects such as Business Efficiency and cost optimisation. Experience in banking and depth of knowledge in management reporting processes. Experience leading large teams of senior professionals. Leader, team player with strong management ability and track record. Culturally orient in diverse, international team environment. Work effectively under pressure, multitask, influence without direct authority.
