Early Childhood Education Specialist

We are looking for creative, confident, passionate, and caring Early Childhood Education Specialists to teach young students the fundamentals of musical concepts.
Supported by a rigorous and user-friendly program that would help teachers effectively facilitate the lessons with ease, teachers will also receive thorough training on musical concepts, theory, performance, and other fundamental skills needed to teach the courses.
We work closely with each teacher to bring out the best in each individual and fully support teachers as they work and study simultaneously to reach their full potential as educators.

Job Responsibilities:
Effectively teach individual and group classes for young children aged 2-4 years old.
Commit to teaching lessons at high quality following the Aureus curriculum for young learners.
Thoroughly plan and prepare lessons.
Maintain active communication with parents regarding students’ progress before and after lessons.
Organize ad-hoc activities for children and their families, including recitals, camps, and music exploration sessions.
Contribute to the school’s growth through participation in events, roadshows, and other growth initiatives.
Keep detailed progress records for each child and actively communicate with parents to build good rapport.
Foster a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression among young children.
Participate in all Aureus teacher training program, professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of best practices in early childhood education.
Support the overall mission and values of the school, and uphold professional standards of conduct and ethics.
Hiring Criteria:
Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education, Education, Arts or related field required
At least 2-3 years of experience working with children preferred
Love for working with young children, and keen interest in their overall growth and development
Basic knowledge of music theory and/or music performance experience preferred (equivalent to grade 1-3 ABRSM)
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
Excellent spoken and written English
Positive, outgoing personality and a team player
Willing to complete mandatory Training Programme to facilitate Aureus Music curriculum for young students * Professional certification is available
