Key Responsibilities:

Plan curriculum and programmes Develop and evaluate learning materials and resources to improve quality of learning environmentsIntegrate teaching and learning approaches to meet diverse needs of all childrenEvaluate new teaching and learning approaches for application to curriculum and lessons Deliver intervention Adhering to clinical protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Deliver intervention in collaboration with early childhood educators and transdisciplinary team of professionals, in both inclusive and integration setting whenever neededEvaluate effectiveness of intervention, practices, resources and assistive technology to support learningRefine classroom management strategiesGuide review of child’s learning progress, goals and family priorities in coordination with caregivers, early childhood educators, and transdisciplinary team of professionalsEngage families to enhance child and family outcomes Manage family and community programmes Develop family and community initiatives and programmes in partnership with transdisciplinary teamEvaluate family and community initiatives and programmes for improvementsConduct training in evidence-based practices to key stakeholders Continuing education, research activities and training Participate in continuous professional developmentImplement evidence-based intervention practices, resources and assistive technologiesPlan and conduct continuous professional development activities for key stakeholdersSupport the translation of research findings into applications for direct practiceDevelop educational materials and activities to meet the learning needs of students, caregivers and key stakeholdersParticipate in research projects

Job Holder Requirements:

Qualification: Diploma in Early Childhood/Child Psychology/Early Childhood/Psychology, andAdvance Diploma in Early Intervention (Special Needs) Experience: Prior experience of at least 2 years working in a related fieldOther Knowledge / Skills / Attributes: Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team, being both client-centered and service-orientedWorks with ease in an inter-disciplinary team, including nurses, social workers, therapists and early childhood educatorsAdaptable in a fast-paced environment, with good written and verbal communication skillsPrior experience working in early childhood classrooms would be a bonus
