Network Field Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Network Field Engineer to join our growing team. The Network Field Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for network and IT services at client premises. This role requires a hands-on, customer-oriented individual with good technical knowledge of networking equipment and the ability to travel to various locations to resolve issues effectively.
Responsibilities- Perform on-site troubleshooting and repairs for network, internet, and hardware issues.
- Install, configure, and test network equipment (routers, switches, servers).
- Perform site surveys, testing, and network performance checks.
- Support and assist in scheduled maintenance or upgrade works.
- Liaise with internal teams for technical escalation.
- Document service reports, issues found, and solutions provided.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on-site.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned service tickets.
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree in IT, Networking, Telecommunications, or related field.
- Experience in fieldwork, technical support and professional certificate (Cisco Certification, Aruba, Juniper, Linux and others) preferred.
- Good knowledge of networking, internet troubleshooting, and hardware installation.
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, WiFi, Router setup, Cabling).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle customer interactions professionally.
- Responsible, proactive, and customer-oriented.
- Willing to work beyond office hours or during standby duty.
