Job Description Position Description The Liquidity Manager role sits within the Treasury department that is responsible for all aspects of treasury risk management including liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange, interest rate risk management, collateral management and margining. This role will be directly responsible for JERAGM's immediate holding company, JERA Trading International Pte Ltd (JERATI)'s liquidity activities. The Treasury department is a team-based environment that values interaction, exchange of ideas and techniques, and is a huge advocate of continuous improvement. The flat team structure supports access to all levels of management across the organisation to ensure that analysis and judgements are comprehensive and complete. Key Role Responsibilities Support the development, and day-to-day management of business relationships with banks with regards to JERATI cash management activities. Prepare cash projections and monitoring of working capital requirements for JERATI. Manage daily cash flows and ensure optimisation of excess cash within JERATI. Daily and month-end reporting on liquidity forecast for JERATI. Align cash management and reporting standards across JERATI operations. Develop and maintain reporting dashboard for real-time insights. Undertake ad-hoc projects to support JERATI operations. Ensure JERATI transactions are properly reconciled with bank statements. Support documentation requirements from banks for JERATI facilities. Ensure all cash transfers and loan drawdowns adhere to internal procedures. Support the development of automation strategy in ARAP workflows, including internet banking solutions. Work cross-functionally with the ARAP, Accounting, Settlement and Treasury teams. Perform callback with counterparties to verify bank details before the setup in the banking platform by ARAP team. Support annual R&I credit rating review. Support banking relationships and ensuring prompt response to bank queries. Act as liaison officer between JERAGM and JERA Co., Inc. to facilitate dialogue and coordination. Maintain operational requirements and elevate payment issues up to the point of resolution. Maintain user-access database as System Administrator for all internet banking requirements. Qualifications Key Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional degree Minimum 5-7 years of relevant working experience in the Japanese fuel markets Cash management experience preferred Highly analytical with the ability to distil large, complex datasets into simplified concepts Strong proprietary knowledge to handle queries from stakeholders in JERA Co., Inc. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Knowledge in PowerBI and Python will be a plus. Independent and detail-oriented, with strong adherence to timelines Experience in the LNG industry including liaising with Japanese utility companies including JERA is required Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N1) or similar is required as this role requires to act as a liaison between Japanese stakeholders, both at working and management levels.
