Role Overview - Junior Sous Chef As a Junior Sous Chef , you will support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in leading the kitchen team. You'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality Italian-inspired dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and fostering a collaborative kitchen culture. Key Responsibilities Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and ingredient selection . Prepare and cook Italian dishes, ensuring top-tier presentation and taste. Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, offering guidance and feedback. Oversee kitchen operations during shifts, maintaining efficiency and quality. Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations. Monitor inventory levels and support ordering/stock control. Handle special requests or concerns with professionalism. Qualifications Previous experience as a Cook or Chef , ideally in Italian cuisine. Culinary training or certifications (preferred). Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques & food safety. Leadership and team management skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Creative, passionate about food, and detail-oriented. Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
