  • As a candidate for the position at Worldline, you will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in a variety of technical skills related to data migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This includes a strong understanding of GCP services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, and Google Cloud Dataflow. Knowledge of GCP identity and access management (IAM) is essential for maintaining data security during migration.Your experience with data migration tools such as Google Cloud Transfer Service, Data Transfer Service, and third-party tools like Talend, Apache NiFi, and Informatica will be crucial. Familiarity with GCP's Database Migration Service (DMS) for migrating databases to GCP will also be beneficial.In terms of database management systems, you should have experience with both relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Bigtable, Firestore). Understanding data modeling and schema design to optimize migrated data is key to ensuring efficiency.Proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming data is required, along with familiarity with programming and scripting languages like Python or Java for developing migration scripts and automating data workflows. Cloud networking knowledge, including concepts like VPC, subnets, and firewall rules, is essential for designing data migration architecture.Additionally, you should have an understanding of Google Cloud Storage and best practices for data transfer, as well as experience with monitoring and logging tools like GCP's Stackdriver to track data migration progress and troubleshoot issues.Knowledge of data governance, compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and security best practices related to data migration is important.
