What we do: Our Marketplace Quality team is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of ad quality and transparency. We play a crucial role in fostering trust by ensuring a secure and transparent marketplace, free from fraud and substandard inventory.
What you’ll do:
- Represent The Trade Desk Marketplace Quality team in discussions with various internal teams, clients, partners, and industry organizations on topics related to inventory quality.
- Work closely with Marketplace Quality Engineering, Product, Partnerships, Legal, Business Intelligence, and Client Services teams to drive forward our marketplace quality priorities.
- Investigate client and vendor inquiries related to inventory policies.
- Evaluate inventory partners to determine compliance to posted inventory policies.
- Regular ongoing technical analysis of platform-wide data related to supply quality.
- Find technical, operational, policy, or business solutions to complex inventory quality problems.
- Crafting strategic external messaging about sensitive industry topics related to inventory quality and transparency.
- Handle complex, sensitive discussions with clients, partners, and vendors to reach favorable outcomes.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience in operational and/or technical roles at a DSP, SSP, Connected TV vendor, agency, publisher, mobile app company, or ad verification vendor preferred.
- Experience or strong interest in mobile app monetization, in-app advertising, or SDK integration work preferred.
- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries preferred.
- Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, trends, and IAB initiatives related to supply quality and transparency.
- Knowledge of the anti-fraud and brand safety offerings of major advertising technology vendors.
- Outstanding ability to think critically and solve complex problems, “detective” level perseverance.
- Ability to continually make progress on long-term projects while also managing the day-to-day needs of a dynamic, rapidly growing business.
- Superior ability to communicate to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Intensely curious self-starter able to work independently.
- Experience with JIRA, Excel, Open RTB protocol, and working with APIs to create, update, and retrieve data.
