Diving Project Engineer

POSH is looking for Project Engineers to manage and execute the diving construction scopes on a project.

This role is based in Singapore with travels to India / Saudi Arabia as and when required depending on project execution phase.

The role reports directly to the Project Package Manager(s) on a specific project and works closely with the Lead Project Engineers on a day to day basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinating with other departments and teams to ensure that Diving package activities are properly integrated into the overall project plan.Provides specialist skills, integrity, and knowledge in key areas of discipline engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements and current good engineering practice.Understands clients' needs; identifies and addresses design parameters and problems; develops and implements solutions.Ensures project and HS&E compliance and adherence to project budget & schedule.Under own supervision, independently evaluates, organises and prioritises work.Undertakes responsibility for production of installation deliverables, which may include engineering support to the Drawing Office, installation procedures, technical bid evaluations, study reports and various 3rd-party submissions.Ensures all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed.Developing and managing procurement strategies and plans to ensure that equipment and materials are delivered on time and within budget.Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure that equipment and materials are manufactured, tested, and delivered to the required quality standards.Coordinating with offshore installation teams to ensure that the Diving package is installed and commissioned according to the project schedule and quality standards.Provide engineering assistance during mobilisations and occasional periods of offshore or site working where required.Be involved in design of installation aids and other equipment required for use offshore or for use onshore in preparation for offshore activitiesBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related fieldAt least 5-7 years of experience in Diving Installation operationsRelevant experience working on previous EPCI or T&I offshore construction projects is preferredPrevious track record of working on Saudi Aramco LTA Projects of similar scopes is an advantageKnowledge: Must have a good understanding of diving operations including DSV and diving spreads, diving techniques, and procedures, as well as relevant diving regulations and standards. Knowledge of project management principles and practices is also required.Must be able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to prioritise own and others’ workload, manage time accordingly and inform team members where constraints will affect a project in terms of programme or budget.Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholdersFluent in EnglishOther requirements: Must be willing to travel as and when required throughout various project phases
