Asia Pacific Distribution Division (APD) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate individual who can lead project management for key digital deployments across Asia Pacific dealers.
As a Senior Digital Operations Consultant, you will play a key role in executing our digital strategy and driving digital transformation within our dealer network. The position will be responsible for establishing and overseeing APD digital deployments roadmaps and support the deployment of the full suite of Caterpillar’s world class digital solutions with Caterpillar dealer. As the Digital Deployment Lead for APD, you will establish strategic, and business (technical and functional) understanding of APD Region to ensure Caterpillar Digital solutions are fully leveraged to maximize customer value and support Services Growth.
This position provides a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast evolving environment and contribute to the Services Growth Strategy by working on enterprise-wide recognized initiatives and improving dealer digital capabilities and performance. To succeed in this role, strong communication, change and project management skills are essential.
What You Will Do:
Lead Digital deployment roadmap process for APD dealers and ensure aligned digital deployment roadmaps are in place for APD dealers (timeline, resources, skills, etc)
Project management and governance digital deployment projects at APD dealers, in collaboration with key stakeholders
Proactive management of APD wide deployments – Risk mitigation actions and address schedule variance and resource gaps
Drive engagement with key dealers and stakeholders to ensure dealer capabilities and integration points needed for digital deployments are understood (Caterpillar Digital priorities and Dealer Digital priorities)
Engage APD dealers and appropriate Caterpillar subject matter experts on strategic priorities and ensure alignment on roadmaps on an ongoing basis, keeping APD dealers aligned with roadmaps on an ongoing basis
APD Integrated Procurement (IP) subject matter expert for IP deployments, responsible for IP prospects and improving IP utilization across APD
Build and manage training and communication internally and within the dealers on Caterpillar systems and applications
What You Have:
Experience in operational / marketing / digital experience gained from a broad range of assignments requiring dealers and/or customers contact and interactions is preferred
Problem Management Experience
Extensive project management, program and change management experience
Ability to build trust, influence stakeholders and teams
Fast learner and quick in adapting to a fast-changing environment
Customer Focus
Ability to understand business needs and to translate them into IT / Digital requirements
Proven ability to drive operational improvements with dealers and customers
Effective Communications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills including presentation proficiency and a demonstrated ability to earn trust and credibility with senior management teams
Ability to influence internal and external partners at all hierarchy levels to successfully drive change
Collaborating
Self-starter, able to work autonomously and in teams
Top Candidates will also have:
Proven ability to drive cross functional projects with dealers and customers
Demonstrated ability to quickly understand dealer culture with the ability to translate that understanding into a tailored approach to selling the value of Digital offerings
Additional Info:
This position will require up to 30 to 40% travelling, primarily within Asia Pacific.
