Corporate Finance and Credit, Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Finance:

Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s business objectives.Prepare detailed financial models to support strategic initiatives, including capital structure optimization, budgeting, and forecasting.Analyze and evaluate investment opportunities, providing recommendations to senior management.

Credit Risk Assessment:

Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments for corporate clients, including evaluating financial statements, cash flow, and collateral.Develop credit risk models to assess the probability of default and loss given default.Monitor and manage the company’s credit portfolio to ensure compliance with risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

Lead the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans.Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.Collaborate with business units to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):

Support M&A activities, including due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation analysis.Participate in negotiations and the structuring of transactions.Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

Debt Capital Markets (DCM):

Assist in structuring, negotiating, and executing debt transactions, including bonds, loans, and other credit facilities.Work closely with investment banks, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to secure favorable financing terms.Monitor market conditions, assess the impact of interest rate changes, and provide insights on optimal debt issuance strategies.

Debt Pack Modeling:

Develop and maintain detailed debt models, including sensitivity analyses and scenario planning.Prepare comprehensive debt packs for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing key terms, covenants, and financial metrics.Analyze debt repayment schedules, interest coverage ratios, and other critical metrics to ensure the company maintains a healthy financial position.

Key Requirements:

You possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field with at least 2 to 3 years of experience in related functions such as FP&A, M&A and Corporate Finance. You have a good understanding of banking regulations, credit risk management frameworks and financial modeling with advanced excel skills.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Finance & Credit Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in financial modeling, FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions), banking credit risk assessment, Debt Capital Markets (DCM), and debt pack modeling. This role is critical in supporting the company’s financial strategy, managing credit risk, and optimizing capital structure.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; CAor CFA designation preferred.Minimum of two years of experience in corporate finance, credit risk assessment, and financial modeling.Strong understanding of banking regulations and credit risk management frameworks.Proficient in financial modeling, with advanced Excel skills and experience using financial analysis software.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to senior management.Experience with M&A transactions and financial due diligence.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of Real Estate industry-specific financial practices and regulations.Experience working in a multinational or large corporate environment.Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
