Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.

Mandai X is the growth accelerator and venture building arm of Mandai Wildlife Group that sparks, catalyses and accelerates innovative ventures in completely new domains that drive growth and impact at scale.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

VISUAL MERCHANDISING (50%)

·Manage Store VM Opex for VM displays , props and activations and Store renovations Capex.

·Able to write requirements for Visual merchandising / Design tender specifications and undertake the procurement process.

·Set visual merchandising guidelines to best portray Mandai and ensure that the visual merchandising guidelines are strongly adhered to.

·Involved in the production and implementation of retail pop-up stores, out of park retail activations and events / campaigns.

·Provide art direction for product photography Ecommerce usage.

·Provide Graphic design support for instore VM communications and signage.

·Assist in any ad-hoc project.

·Inspire and work closely with the frontline team to ensure all retail outlets are well displayed and new products launches are well merchandised.

·Work closely with Retail Design & Marketing team on store openings, marketing events, collateral productions.

·Manage external & internal vendors on VM productions and ensure that quality of merchandise satisfy standards.

·Lead in-store VM leads, Interns and an Executive (if assigned) to execute VM changes and store set up.

STORE DEVELOPMENT (50%)

·Able to understand and read store plans and drawings.

·Identify and give suggestions of the best vendor to award,based on pass work / projects done before.

·Plan in-park store renovations / improvements and revitalisation for each FY and better managing CAPEX with projects planned.

·Support internal team on new store design, construction, displays, and refreshing or renovating existing stores.

·Work with procurement for SESAMI upload.

·Support out of park pop up store and counters set up.

·Able to write requirements for building tender specifications.

·Ensure 50% or more of new store projects to be from old store upcycled or repurposed fixtures and that at least 1 bay / wall is utilised for sustainability projects.

·Interior design or facility management experience would be advantageous.

Job Requirements

·Minimum Diploma in Visual Merchandising.

·Preferably at least 2-3 years working in Retail standalone brands and has undertaken shop renovation or refresh projects.

·Experience in visual merchandising, visual communications, graphic design, fashion merchandising, store planning, interior design would be preferred.

·Positive, able to multi-task and possesses strong planning ability.

·Open minded and able to adapt fast.

·Able to collaborate with various internal stake holders and teams to coordinate efforts for effective work and successful project delivery.

·Good with your hands and has a keen eye for details.

·A great visual storyteller, able to articulate ideas.

·Able to think out of the box.
