VP, Credit Portfolio Management

Responsibilities
Conduct the portfolio management, including credit monitoring, trigger reports, waiver, and amendments, for the existing borrowers of the departement. Develop and maintain relationship with and Japanese-related borrowers and sponsors, and Japanese Governmental Agencies in APAC. Liaise and co-work with relavant departments and SMBC group members conduct internal reportings and have consultations on credit cost / tax / accounting matters as necessary. Strategic planning for business development of structured finance area in APAC. Support ad-hoc works for some senior staffs at the same department. Share knowledge to team members and motivate others to maximize the outcome of the team.Job Requirements
Over 7 years of banking sector experiences and at least 5 year experience in structured fiance. At least 1-year experience in credit portfolio management of structured finance Fluent in spoken and written Japanese is desirable as this role needs to discuss with Japanese government agencies/clients and make presentation in Japanese. Deep sector knowledges of infrastructure and power - in particular, experiences in digital infrastructures like data center is desirable given the increasing number of the deals in the sector. Professional level of MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint,and the analysis and analysis of financial model. University graduate with strong academic background A team player but also independent and self-motivated Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise, manage and meet expectations/deadlines with strong work ethics, integrity and commitment Knowledge of Japanese Banking Law and banking regulations-
