CMC are hiring We have a permanent opportunity for an Equity Sales Trader to join our Premium Client Management team. This role will be based onsite 5 days per week in our Singapore office.

We are excited to have launched a new online investing platform, CMC Invest, in Singapore in September last year. Although we are an established organisation, we are on the hunt for candidates who will thrive in an enthusiastic start-up atmosphere and are keen to join us on our journey towards our recently launched new Fintech brand in Singapore.

Role & Responsibilities

Business Development

Ability to generate business through networksAdhere to and achieve consistent monthly/quarterly KPI targets (eg. growth, retention, referrals)Provide proactive, end-to-end high-quality service for our premium value clients to ensure a positive, tailored trading experience, thereby optimising revenue growth for the businessAttend Client Entertainment functions, both one-on-one and event situationsConstantly improving and innovating to create real points of differentiation in our markets

Account Management

Responding to client’s enquiries and providing clients with product knowledge to ensure optimum utilisation of products and platformsProactively identify and cross sell additional products and services to existing clientsProactively identify opportunities to improve the client experienceGain referrals from existing client baseWhere authorised, execute orders with speed, accuracy, and efficiencyAct as a brand ambassador in all client interactionProactively respond to and manage inbound client queries through Phone and Email professionally and efficientlyEscalate all client issues in a timely manner to appropriate levels to ensure a consistently high level of client service if requiredTake ownership for ensuring accurate client information is recorded in relevant internal systems (e.g. Dojo, Pega, Salesforce etc) in a timely manner if required

Education

Building content to support clients with trading decisions and keeping abreast of market conditionsEducation on trading/investment strategies to help clients meet their aims and objectivesRunning webinars, seminars and events for premium clientsIdentifying and realising opportunities to educate our premium value clients on our products and range of services.

Media

Provide ad-hoc insightful, directed and knowledgeable market commentary for PR purposes. This may require presence across multiple mediums, including and not limited to television, radio and written commentary.

Product Management

Be the product and platform expert for both internal an external stakeholders, with the ability to competently demonstrate and educate clients in its use

Compliance

Understand and adhere to local and global compliance guidelines and relevant regulations for the jurisdiction of operationMaintain personal/ professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative trainingWhen dealing with all customers, clients or colleagues ensure that we provide a clear, fair and consistent high-quality service that presents a professional and positive image of CMC Markets.Demonstrating desirable/required conduct to board, team managers and all staffOther duties as appropriate to the position

Key Skills & Experience

Essential

3-5 years relevant experienceAbility to work effectively as part of a team and with leadershipOperates with integrity and a highly client centric mind set, with an ability to build, influence and enhance strong and meaningful client relationshipsAbility to bring across a book or network of clients is desirableDemonstrates passion and enthusiasm for our products and servicesIntermediate knowledge/experience of financial marketsProven ability to work with KPIs and targetsStrong customer service and relationship management orientationExcellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Mandarin)Strong resilience and capacity to work with high-net-worth clientsSales/relationship management/customer service experience requiredProven ability to trade on behalf of clients in an accurate and timely mannerTertiary degree in relevant discipline desirable (Business, Finance, Economics etc.)

CMFAS M1B, M6 regulatedSuitability to be an FCA SMCR Certification FunctionExperience in similar rolesPost-graduate Degree in relevant discipline
