Position Overview

Reporting: The person will be part of Data Protection Management of Chief Risk Office which drives data protection and governance and compliance with regulatory standards.

Roles and Responsibilities: Lead, conceptualize and operationalize governance policies and processes in areas of data protection, and data loss protection (DLP) process management, in meeting the compliance standards.

Role & Responsibilities

Operation Management (a) Data Protection Management

Develop and implement education and training initiatives for awareness and compliance (include designing learning materials regularly). Guide business units on accepted controls and compliance processes such as data security risks assessment, data protection impact assessment and personal data inventories.  Guide employees on policies and processes and respond to internal queries. Provide advisory services on data protection issues including specific data related products and services and contractual obligations (alongside the Legal team). Other duties as assigned including annual internal review of policies, processes and maintaining documentation to ensure accountability.

Operation Management (b) DLP Process Management

Develop and formulate potential data loss risks and threats into DLP Policies. Create and ensure technical requirements of DLP Policies are met prior release to all users in production environment.  Ensure upkeep of DLP Policies and DLP Process Procedure to review periodically for compliance and areas of improvements. Write and conclude statistical analysis reports for management reporting regularly Highlight and work closely with internal stakeholders to address any potential or/and confirmed non-compliance gaps.

Requirements

University degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. At least 6 years of experiences in IT Security, and preferred with at least 2 years in data governance Proficient in MS Office Applications. Good interpersonal and communication and written skills. Knowledge in DLP implementation and operation, IT security operation, IT incident management, project management, legal, compliance, enterprise risk, and IT audit is an advantage.

Professional Certification/License (if any):

1. Security certification (CISSP/CISM, ITIL) is preferred.

2. Fundamentals of PDPA/CIPP/CIPM/CIPT or other relevant certification
