The Role

Primarily and professionally engaged in the dose measurement, treatment planning and quality assurance program in the Centre.

Key accountabilities

Provide safe and accurate treatment To do treatment planning for external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapyTo discuss clinical cases with the consultant on treatment plans and techniques Radiotherapy quality assurance programs To perform output measurements, calibrations and quality assurance on relevant machine related to radiotherapy equipment periodicallyTo review daily QA procedure performed by Radiation Therapist To supervise the radiation therapists to ensure that they perform their duties in accordance to the standards required of them and that they observe the radiation safety rules. Assist in ensuring the PMIs of the radiotherapy equipment are done as per schedule and all test reports of equipment maintenance are reviewed Assist in frontline troubleshooting for all therapy related machines and service engineer coordination Assist in the MOH and NEA regulatory compliance Assist department quality/safety project(s). Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

Degree / Master in Medical Physics (Radiation Therapy) or equivalent Preferably with 2 years’ relevant experience in radiation therapy
