Position
This position is responsible to lead and manage financial/business planning preparation and support routine finance operations for Givenchy and Kenzo SEA, with a primary focus on the Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand markets. This position will also partner closely with the Director of Finance & Operations to manage financial and business planning for the corporate shared services team.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Lead and manage the budgets & forecasts process from initial framing to presentation to the respective Brand’s headquarters or regional teams for Givenchy and Kenzo Manage and assist with the budgets & forecasts for the corporate finance and operations shared service team Analyse monthly and weekly sales variance analysis - highlight trends, risks, opportunities Conduct financial reviews and assessments of new business activities Partner and drive action plans with internal teams, driving operational/profitability targets Review and report Brands’ operational controls but not limited to expenses for key stakeholders to navigate Brands’ performance Prepare month-end accruals, review OPEX, and report on the variances on a monthly basisFinance Operations
Work closely with the Regional Accounting team to optimize all balance sheets items, especially cash & working capital. Review invoices and petty cash claims to ensure accuracy in cost allocation Review monthly stock reconciliation with Accounting and local Supply Chain team Review monthly reconciliation of warehouse stocks between system and warehouse WMS stock report Monitor inventory level and propose clearance solutions or inventory allocations. Review of legal contracts mutually with Legal department, Landlord and BrandInternal Control & Compliance
Partner with Internal Control to review retail audits on an annual basis for each store and propose to retail stakeholders an action plan if necessary Partner with Logistics to review bi-annual stock take and reporting needs Review and control of store expenses by regularly pricing out competitive suppliers Monitor internal control to ensure compliance with all corporate governance requirements Relay all company guidelines to store management regarding how to operate their business to keep within the rules and regulations Ensure proper procedures are adhered to with regard to cash, credit card (payment) processing, and store petty cash and sales float managementProjects
Participate, lead or manage ad-hoc projects which include but not limited to: Boutique operations handbook matters, liaise with internal (including retail audit) and external audits, wholesale to retail, multi country management, POS implementation May require travelling
Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in accountancy or Business Chartered Accountant or ACCA will be added advantage Minimum 7-10 years in FP&A and Controlling will be an added advantage Ability to work in matrix and diverse environment Excellent analytical and organization skills Good communications and interpersonal skills Good team player High integrity, motivated and driven Experience in retail, wholesale or luxury fashion will be added advantage
