Responsibilities/Main Activities
Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is seeking to hire a Solution Consultant. The successful candidate need to be based in Singapore .
As the Solution Consultant , you will specialize in the PAS PlantState Integrity solution, including OT/ICS Cybersecurity. PAS PlantState Integrity is a solution for alarm management, boundary management, control loop monitoring and tuning, and managing Independent Protection Layers (IPL), which work together to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant industrial operations.
The primary role of this Solution Consultant is to provide technical and subject matter expertise for Hexagon PAS solution and later to further expand into other O&M solutions. You will work closely with sales teams and Industry Consultants to establish the value of Hexagon’s solutions for achieving customer’s business outcomes. This is accomplished by matching Hexagon’s technology with the customers’ business needs, business practices, work processes and technical environments.
You are expected to provide technical and subject matter expertise for Hexagon PAS solution in pre-sales engagements and business development activities with a focus on the APAC market. You will work closely with the sales teams and Industry Consultants from across the sales segments to communicate the value of the Hexagon PAS solution and how Hexagon can achieve the customer’s business outcomes through demonstrations, presentations, and other customer engagements.
Asides from sales pursuits, a Solution consultant will also be responsible for conducting relevant training of internal teams for the purpose of knowledge sharing, and potentially involve in implementation process.
Responsibilities
Business Development Support
Support building and growing the pipeline of opportunities for Hexagon PAS solution. Work with Sales and other Consultants to establish the value of Hexagon PAS solution in various industries. Work closely with Industry Consultants to develop meaningful customer presentations and demonstrations. Actively and regularly meets with and demonstrates Hexagon PAS solution to prospects and customers. Confidently and articulately speaks in public and acts as a technical leader in customer interactions. Lead discussions with new and/or existing clients on business outcomes and how Hexagon PAS solution can help customers achieve these outcomes. Create business process scripts that show values around Hexagon PAS solution for use in marketing and sales enablement content.
SME/Technical Pre-Sales
Provide Subject Matter Expertise for Hexagon PAS solution in the region for pre-sales activities. Captures technical and work process requirements and translates them into a demonstratable workflow. Development and execution of demonstrations tailored to customer needs with understanding of surrounding tools and ability to configure and create additional content. Maintains and adjusts demonstration systems, scripts, and data to fit various market opportunities. Independently develop and perform the configuration and execution of an Evaluation or POC with out of the box assets. Assist the Sales team in the development of technical proposals and budget estimates. Evaluate tender requests (RFx) and provide technical response that is aligned with the business requirements. Liaise with Services teams to provide feedback to the product managers on the field and based on customer requirements. Work with Services team in reviewing technical and scoping documents and liaison the knowledge transfer from sales to services. Keeps a close relationship with the product center and strategic teams to maintain expertise and early knowledge of new functionality of Hexagon PAS solution, as well as providing regional feedback such as workflow improvement, technical gaps etc. Liaise with Solutions Consultants in other regions for lessons learned and best practice sharing. Provides technical support for marketing activities. Attend trade shows, seminars and user conferences and be capable of presenting technical papers and presentations.#LI-AC1
Qualifications and Experience Required
Degree qualification in engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
Skills and Experience
5+ years of enterprise software consulting, presales, or implementations is required. Good knowledge of oil & gas, process industry & utility sector business requirements, processes, and trends. Knowledge of Hexagon PAS solution or equivalent competitor software solution is preferable. Technical knowledge in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking, and cybersecurity. Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively and maturely communicate in writing and verbally with stakeholders across all levels. Good presentation skills, has experience in presenting to and across a diverse stakeholder audience to influence a successful outcome. Strong knowledge of OT Cyber Security & Process Control solution within an industrial environment is preferred. Hands-on experience in solution delivery and broad understanding of SCADA and Industrial Control Systems including architecture is preferred. Management of Process Safety and OT Cyber security requirements lifecycle including formulation, validation, and verification. Understanding of business processes in Owner Operators, in the areas of Alarm Management, Boundary Management, IPL Assurance, Control Loop Monitoring, OT Cyber Security, ICS Configuration change management. Ability to technically support responses to RFIs and RFPs. Ability to time-manage and meet set deadlines. Ability to work on multiple projects and manage priorities. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
