Position Overview

As a Singapore Mathematics Tuition Teacher, your primary role will be to elevate the mathematical understanding of lower and upper secondary school students. This position emphasises academic prowess and champions a deeper understanding and appreciation of A&E Mathematics.

Major Objectives

1. Curriculum Development and Delivery

- Within the first three months, assess and tailor the existing A & E Mathematics curriculum to enhance its relevance and engagement for diverse student groups.

-Implement innovative teaching strategies that cater to varying learning speeds and styles. Aim for a 15% improvement in student outcomes as measured by internal assessments by the end of the first academic year.

2. Student Engagement and Performance Tracking

- Develop and maintain a robust system to track individual student performance by the end of your first semester.

- Utilize data-driven insights to adjust instructional techniques, striving for a minimum of 20% increase in student engagement as evidenced by participation and assessment scores.

3. Professional Development and Collaboration

- Participate in bi-monthly professional development workshops and collaborate with peers to share insights and strategies.

- Lead a workshop on innovative math teaching techniques by the end of the first year, contributing to the centre's repository of best practices.

Candidate Profile

1. Malaysian, age below 30.

2. Holds a degree in Mathematics or a related field.

3. Demonstrates a robust passion for teaching and a dynamic approach to student interaction.

4. Exhibits excellent organizational and time management skills.

5. Coachable, with a strong desire to develop professionally and personally within the educational sector.

Work Hours

- Monday to Friday: 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM

- Weekends: Flexible hours between 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, ensuring a balanced workload not exceeding 44 hours per week.

Compensation

- Monthly salary ranging from RM7500 to RM10000, based on qualifications and experience.
