We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical systems and components in accordance with blueprints, diagrams, and specifications. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure the quality and functionality of our products. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong mechanical aptitude.

 Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install mechanical systems and components according to blueprints and specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues as they arise
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to develop and implement process improvements
  • Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are followed
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure that products meet established standards
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and components
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks
