Fitch Group Finance team is currently seeking a temporary finance analyst based out of our Singapore office.

Finance team in Singapore is APAC Regional Finance hub supervising and supporting the finance functions of Fitch’s rating and non-rating business in the region, working closely with Group Finance team in London/New York and local Finance team in other Asia countries.

We’ll Count on You To:

Support the finance department and management team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks. Preparing reports, and completing financial closing and accounting duties for the company. Also include:

General Bookkeeping : Assist in managing day-to-day accounting and finance requirements such as journal entries, invoicing, and account reconciliations Accounts Payable and Receivable : Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy of data entry. This includes generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances Financial Reporting : Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Data Management : Maintain digital and physical financial records Payroll Support : Assist with payroll processing, ensuring that employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner Compliance : Ensure compliance with GAAP, and relevant financial regulations and guidelines Audits : Provide support during statutory audits by preparing required schedules and documentation Expense Management : Process employee expense claims, ensuring that company policies are adhered to Administrative Support : Perform administrative tasks such as filing, handling mail, and making phone calls

What You Need to Have:

Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred Proven experience as an Account Analyst or in a similar role Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles Proficient with accounting software (e.g., SAP etc.) and MS Office (especially Excel) High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
