Duties & responsibilities

Implement PDS HSSE strategy into the Singapore D&B team, endorsed by Senior Management and aligned with the Region Support and influence Senior Leadership and employees to manage a safe work culture and uphold the JLL Global HSE Policy, and associated standards. Conduct emergency response drills Conduct safety inductions and orientations. To conduct regularly visit sites to on-going projects by the D&B team Attend regular Construction Coordination Meetings of con-going projects and raise any concerns or non-compliances Review and approve sub-contractors’ and vendors’ HSE documents and provide necessary recommendation to ensure compliance and good practices. Contribute suggestions to mitigate reoccurrences of incidents and accidents. Explain WSH compliance requirements and proper work practices pertaining to employees' specific work process or area. Follow Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) when responding to emergency situations. Follow Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policy and procedures. Follow investigation protocols to collect data and report findings. Identify WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices. Participate in WSH compliance inspections. Report instances of WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices to team members. Respond promptly to incidents and accidents. Support WSH incident and accident investigations. Support implementation of actions to improve WSH performance and control risks. Manage and support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the HSSE elements, providing assurance that compliance is achieved through an inspection and checklist program. Supports the delivery of regulatory compliance and proactively identify key HSSE trends and/or legislative changes that create opportunity for continuous improvement and/or compliance. Drive processes and procedures to become an industry leader in all aspects of:HSSE ManagementRisk ManagementContractor ManagementIncident Management Participate in the D&B HSSE risk profile and associated supporting Risk Management systems. Participate in the CMO Incident Management system and associated incident investigations. Develop a systemic approach to reporting and advising Senior Leadership on D&B HSSE performance objectives and metrics. Identify, develop, and facilitate the delivery of the D&B HSSE training programs. Liaise and maintain construction and HSSE industry contacts, maintaining up to date knowledge of legislation, best practice techniques and methodologies. Contribution of HSSE content on internal and external websites. Contribute to the HSSE collateral of RFPs and proposals. Manage any in country HSSE professionals in Singapore in all aspects of HSSE management. Promote pathways for HSSE industry recognition and awards.

Performance objectives

A SUCCESSFUL PROJECT

Within each project, establish and implement an effective organisation structure for reporting, communication and working procedures. Manage all sub-contractors, vendors, and suppliers on-site to ensure compliance to JLL’s D&B HSSE policies Take a proactive role in delivering a successful project (s). Work with the project team to achieve the best possible performance from all members. Represent and promote the company throughout the project. Ensure accurate and timely project reporting on HSSE related issues. Establish and implement an appropriate safety control system. Lead the identification, mitigation, and reporting on project risks. Utilise JLL technology including AdaptiveWork, Jaggaer, DoneSafe, Project Toolkit.

BUSINESS OUTCOMES

The Safety Coordinator Singapore will be responsible for the management, development and continuous improvement of the HSSE performance in support of delivering D&B projects in Singapore. Assist in the development of quality templates for use by others using Project Toolkit.

Strong understanding of change management principles and track record in leading change programs. Passion for continuous improvement. Regularly expected to provide guidance, mentoring and lead management on all HSSE matters. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present at a senior level. Employee specification

Specialist Diploma in workplace safety and health (WSH) and other HSSE certification Possess WSQ Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level A) Possess WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) Possess WSQ Manage Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites (CSCPM) At least 5 years in a similar position of safety coordinator in a D&B or interior construction firm. Possess knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Act
