We are seeking an experienced, highly-skilled and a business-minded Head of IT to lead our Asia ICT department to drive digital and business transformation and implementing new ways of working. This is an exciting opportunity for IT leaders who are energetic, driven, creative and able to lead on this period of change, through to business as usual. You would have been through the process of digitising a business previously, not just from a technological aspect, but by understanding the full scope of business change and transformation.

Under your lead, you will be responsible for IT Operations & Project Delivery, IT Development, Infrastructure and Information Security & Data management. You will take a consultative approach with senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure IT and change projects are business led & aligned

In addition, you will also be overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations within the IT department and ensuring that our company's technology systems are reliable, up-to-date, and meet the needs of the company.

We prefer candidates who have at least ten years of IT experience, with five in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

Develop the company’s IT strategy to ensure alignment with business goals. Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits. Research new technology to discover ways the company can gain a competitive advantage Making executive decisions on behalf of the company's technological needs. Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards. Ensure all system infrastructures, applications, and our core service are functional and efficient. Monitor security of sensitive data and IT infrastructure. Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance. Analyse the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs. Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT Team.

  Qualifications

Bachelor or higher in Computer science, Engineer or related. Proven experience as Head of IT, or similar managerial role. Minimum 10 Years of experience in IT Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role in an IT setting Strong knowledge of multiple architecture domains including application, platform, data, infrastructure, and security. Proven organizational and management skills, and strong leadership abilities to influence diverse groups to achieve results. Solid working knowledge of current security protocols and threats Strategic thinking skills with broad perspective of different issues Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and solutions (AWS, Azure) Ability to drive innovative enhancements in the organization Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong knowledge in CRM & ERP Microsoft M Certifications, Project Management (PMP)
