General Operations:

Familiar with the objectives of Active Ageing Centre and the service requirements ABC + 2SCompliant to operation rules and guidelines for AAC, ensure safety of seniors and staffWork closely with team to:ensure adherence to operational standards, directives, KPIs and all work processes within designated centre/programme/projectcomply with and ensure adherence to healthcare directives set by both Management & MOHEffectively handle crises and initiate reporting procedures when required

Programme Planning and Management:

Plan and manage programmes such as intergenerational, outdoor, interest-based activities and wellness engagement. This involves coordinating with volunteers and community partners to plan and execute programmes effectively. Advocate for and enrol seniors in programmes to engage them on a regular basisManage administrative tasks and logistics associate with programme implementation

Befriending & Buddying (B&B) Programme

Collaborate with team to oversee the intake and referral process of seniors seeking befriending/buddying services through different platforms.Screen, deploy and evaluate befriender-to-befriendee matches. Organize quarterly befriender meetings and coordinate training sessions as needed.

Outreach & Community Screening Tool (CST):

Plan and participate in outreach to seniorsFacilitate the administration of CPPF, obtain informed consent and conduct CST for potential members

Volunteer Management & Community Partnership:

Contribute to volunteer role design, recruitment, training, deployment, engagement and appreciation, in alignment to the Organisation's Volunteer & Community Engagement (VCE) guidelines and coordination with the VCE team on required training.Recruit volunteers and work with community partners to support AAC services.

Information & Referral:

Attend to walk-in, phone and text enquiries and correspondenceManage referrals and consult Reporting Officer where neededBe familiar with existing social services/programmes and provide service linkage on behalf of clients. Provide Information on relevant schemes, grants and support available for clients and their caregivers.

Data Management & Administrative Support:

Tracking of AAC KPIs such as administration of CST, programmes' participation.Ensure confidentiality of clients' data and all required data duly recorded in the respective data management systems, and documents are filed and organized.Provide administrative support such as put up claims on financial system in a timely manner. Track expenses and income of funded programmes.

Centre Operations & Facilities Management:

Ensure smooth and optimal running of the centre. This involves maintenance of fixed assets and its listing. Upkeep of office and IT systems, devices and equipment. Purchase and replenishment of supplies.Environmental Sanitation Regime work as a team to ensure compliance to cleaning requirements by NEA.Alert Alarm System (AAS) Management (if applicable). Undertake checks, respond and report according to SOP and enlist support technician where necessary.

Ad-hoc/Others:

Undertake any other responsibilities and duties assigned by Reporting Officer may include representing the agency for engagements with community partners, participate in organisation/service group taskforce or projects.

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in relevant disciplines such as Community Care and Social Service, Gerontology, or other relevant fields in Social Sciences.

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Seniors sector, including at least 2 years in a supervisory position at an Active Ageing CentreCandidates with prior experience volunteering with seniors in a community setting is a plusExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsRequired to handle queries/concerns from seniors who are mostly mandarin/dialect-speaking. Proficiency in mandarin and/or dialects is essential.
