What You Will Do:

Supplier Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance against key metrics such as quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness. Develop and implement action plans to address performance gaps and deliver best in class performance. Supplier Development: Collaborate with suppliers to identify areas for performance enhancement and provide guidance and support to improve their capabilities. Facilitate training and development programs as needed. APQP implementation: Drive APQP culture and act as an advocate for this requirement to be implemented as a baseline for the region suppliers. Actively implement APQP on selected suppliers and projects. Quality Assurance: Ensure that suppliers meet Collins Aerospace’s quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify compliance and address any quality issues promptly. Data Analysis: Analyze performance data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations for supplier management strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with internal stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams, to ensure alignment on supplier performance expectations and resolve any issues that may impact production or project timelines. Supplier Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with supplier performance and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the supply chain. Monitor and manage supplier risk factors proactively. Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance supplier performance and process efficiency. Drive the adoption of best practices and innovative approaches to improve supplier relationships and operational outcomes. Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present regular performance reports and updates to senior management. Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to ensure clarity on expectations and progress. Problem solving: Lead/Manage highly impactful supplier Top Issues (supplier caused defects) to include Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action alignment, containment of suspect non-conforming material, and perform as a liaison across Collins Functions and between Collins and suppliers.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)/AS9145 and utilizing resources such as Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Key Characteristics, Design Failure Modes, and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Production Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and/or Control Plans, SPC, MSA. Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action processes (RCCA). Passionate, high-energy, self-starting team player who achieves goals and strives for continuous improvement. Ability to build relationships, able to work and lead in a cross functional environment, able to interface with varying levels of management and work with multi-functions including supply chain, mission assurance, program management, engineering, operations, and supply base

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience in Aerospace is desirable but not mandatory, automotive experience or other industries experience will be considered for the right candidate. Experience in Project Management or SIOP/material management will be an advantage. Certifications in supply chain or quality management (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma Black Belt). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
