About the Department
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.
We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.
Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.
Job Responsibilities
Job Purpose
This role reports to the Head or delegate of Securities Operations and Structured Notes in Global Markets Operations Centre, assisting in day-to-day processing of Securities and Structured Notes.
Principal Accountabilities
To provide support to the Head or delegate in processing of Fixed Income trades settlements and Corporate Action efficiently and accurately. Ensure Compliance with all Statutory Requirements and the Bank’s Operational Procedures. Provide cross team coverage in Securities Operations and Structured Notes Department. Adherence to processing KPIs and Service Levels, error reduction. Achieve operational efficiency by streamlining processes and implementing quick win solutions. To assist in the User Acceptance Testing of new roll-ins, change requests and/or bug fixes. To assist in any duties as assigned within the GMOC division or other tasks as directed by Department Head of Securities Operations and Structured Notes. Support business and other stakeholders for all initiatives/ new products embarked on. Possess good thought process in analyzing business needs, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and Front Office in information gathering and delivering optimal solution.
Job Requirements
Degree in Banking/Finance or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in processing of securities settlement and/or structured notes settlements. Knowledge of Murex system. Ability to multitask, execute on priority and problem resolution. Good working knowledge of Excel and macro functionalities. Analytical and meticulous attention to details. Able to withstand pressure and long hours. Possess strong interpersonal skills and manage stakeholders. Positive attitude, self-driven with good work ethic. Highly driven and able to work under pressure. Able to work on Singapore Public Holidays when required.-
