Position Overview

MOH, in partnership with Smart Nation and Digital Government (SNDG), Government Technology Agency (GovTech) and Integrated Health Information Systems (IHiS), is developing a health-related data sharing platform [Trusted Research and Real world data Utilisation and Sharing Tech (TRUST)].

The goal is to maximize use of research and real-world datasets securely in an anonymized manner, so as to generate useful insights, support health data analytics, and improve health outcomes. More information on the platform can be found here: trustplatform.sg

Role & Responsibilities

Policy & Planning Manager in TRUST, will be involved in the strategic development of TRUST roadmap to ensure its relevance to the research community locally and internationally. Will also be supporting the development of TRUST policies to ensure that the platform strikes a good balance between secure and expeditious data analytics. You will work closely with government agencies developing TRUST (e.g. MOH, SNDGO, GovTech, IHiS) as well as with the users from the public and private sectors.

- Partner TRUST Teams and stakeholders such as government agencies, healthcare and research communities to define key needs and translate them into TRUST development roadmap.

- Develop and review data governance policies to ensure effective implementation of TRUST

- Support project management and strategic planning for TRUST

Requirements

- Minimum Bsc in health & biological sciences or related discipline and preferably at least 5-7 years of experience in the R&D and/or Healthcare sector;

- Experience in coordinating and managing national level strategic programmes and knowledge of the healthcare and biomedical sciences domain highly preferred

- Familiarity with data and research governance such as Human Biomedical Research Act, Personal Data Protection Act will be an advantage.

- Strong competencies in programme management, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and resources in a fast-paced environment;

- Strategic thinker, ability to multi-task, proven problem-solving skills and resourceful

- Excellent oral, written communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas succinctly.
