Project Manager:

  • Ensure end-to-end responsibility for achieving project objectives in line with business commitments.
  • Facilitate committees and work closely with the project team to deliver project deliverables, prioritization, estimations, and planning.
  • Prepare, consolidate, and validate estimates and schedules throughout the project. Maintain project cost within budget and capacity, challenging user needs to provide optimum solutions.
  • Plan resourcing and capacity based on project needs.
  • Create partnerships with product owners, stakeholders, and transversal teams (security, solution architects, compliance).
  • Manage vendors, track maintenance costs, budgets, and offers.
  • Contribute to and ensure compliance with governance frameworks, and provide regular updates and reporting to Division Manager/Domain Heads.
  • Manage release planning and delivery, update necessary tools, and prioritize tasks based on importance.
  • Ensure compliance with Secure Agile or SDLC frameworks.
  • Understand and help remove impediments/blockers faced by the team.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects if required.

Proxy Product Owner:

  • Handle regulatory topics such as German Tax, AEOI/CRS, FATCA, or Tax Statement.
  • Gather business requirements from the Product Owner/End users.
  • Write GFS, perform analysis with the BA of the squad application, and work with testing teams to review SIT strategy, test cases, and results.
  • Support UAT, reproduce issues, monitor, and fix with the team.
  • Assist stakeholders in diagnosing problems, recognizing issues, and recommending possible solutions.
About you
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Finance.
  • 10+ years of experience in the banking IT field (Wealth Management/Private Banking) as a Project Manager/Product Owner/Business Analyst.
  • Good Knowledge of Regulatory AND Tax Reporting with proven experience on any of the given topics.
  • Knowledge of Transactions and securities transactions.
  • Good Knowledge of Market data providers and Reporting systems.
  • Basic Knowledge of Standard Core Banking systems and Front Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good understanding of project lifecycle and experience in functional and technical specification.
  • Highly analytical and able to investigate, troubleshoot, and determine issues at the root cause.
  • Budget steering and adaptability to work on multiple tasks.
  • Ability to collaborate and conduct negotiations.

Good To Have:

  • IT experience: general knowledge, SQL, PL/SQL, IT Architecture principles, IT security concepts
  • Organization and management of tests (SIT / Non-regression, UAT)
  • Methodology (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall etc.)
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Release Management Tools, Skype, Microsoft Teams, Clarity
  • Exposure to applications revolving around AAA, Olympic, TRANSACT, Client Management Systems, Datawarehouse, Batch processing of report.
