About the role
Manages a team of intermediate or experienced professionals in Materials Planning and SIOP. Executes operational plans that include storing and shipping of products, warehouse management, cusotmer service, executing activities, responding to complex inquiries, and ensuring quality of work. Leads in the development of inventory control reports and manuals.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Materials Planning Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Manages team of intermediate or experienced professionals and sets short-term operational plans for team.
- Assist General Manager/Sales for inventory, backlog & orders/sales forecasting management
- Work with customer service associate with customer complaints/requirement, resolving critical issues or problems by coming up with recommendations of possible solutions
- Leads in the establishment of plans and maintaining data for purchased parts, subassemblies, end items and other parts as required.
- Spearheads the development of the capacity management process, including identification of capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SIOP.
- Leads in the establishment of continuous management for the master demand schedule, including adherence to required validations using the best information available.
- Responsible for the transportation and delivery of inter/intra-plant parts and outbound finished products.
- Oversees tracking of inter/intra-plant work in process (WIP), promise dating, and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and flow.
- Warehousing management, Monitors tracking and shipping process.
- Leads in the development of plans to minimize risks for shortages and ensures successful customer delivery.
- Any other duties assigned in other work areas.
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:
- Good Knowledge of SAP is a must. Well-versed in Microsoft Office with good working knowledge in MS Excel.
- At least 10 years’ of relevant working experience in customer services, warehousing, supply chain etc, related industries preferred.
- Possess good analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills.
- Able to work independently and handle assignments in fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proven record in successfully leading and improving business processes in an international matrix environment
- Has broad knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
- University Degree or equivalent experience
