JR45160 Senior Director - A/T Central Quality

We are looking for a high energy, ambitious leader with strong work ethic and integrity to join us as Global Quality (GQ) Sr. Director of Assembly/Test Central Quality, will report directly to GQ Vice President.

In this role, you will be directly responsible for crafting the vision and management of a department to enable outstanding quality and a high-performance team. Your team charter includes leading all aspects of deviation management, control systems, backend quality portfolio management and supplier quality. The scope for backend manufacturing covers all internal (Micron owned/managed) and external (subcontracted) Assembly, Test Module and SSD sites.

Effectively drive and optimize departmental performance by close collaboration with stakeholders to build and implement service strategies aligned to corporate objectives. Establish and monitor department performance through right metrics to identify and implement continual improvement opportunities.

Major Responsibilities

Build an Effective Team

Lead, manage, and develop a motivated high-performance team Optimize department performance and structure Provide detailed performance management for all direct reports with formal and informal feedback, work on a plan jointly to improve strengths and address weaknesses, and establish performance plan goals with line of sight to Micron’s short-term incentive goals, manufacturing initiatives and company strategy

Deliver Outstanding Functional Service

Establish organizational roadmaps and strategies to drive long term vision for best-in-class quality performance and deploy the strategies across all BE MFG and Supplier sites Ensure team members are properly trained according to department compliance and work requirements Lead internal budgets and drive active cost reduction in your department

Render Strategic Solutions

Identify and understand department service requirements, ensure they align with stakeholders’ expectations Develop and measure department metrics and oversee functional metrics to ensure deliverables meet or exceed expectations Build effective relationships across the network to handle and resolve conflicts Initiate and sustain effective communication with all partners Provide advice to senior and executive management on strategic decisions

Ensure a Safe, Compliant, and Ethical Work Environment

Maintain knowledge of and apply company safety, labor, and ethics policies Communicate requirements and expectations to leaders and to internal and external stakeholders Identify and resolve and/or report potential safety, security, and labor issues

Qualifications

Strong understanding of process control systems and change management a must Demonstrated forward-thinking leader with the ability to inspire change and to influence and build consensus with highly technical field teams, customers, and senior leadership Drive and execute a wide range of global initiatives with global teams Demonstrate teamwork, self-development, drive for results, integrity, and trust Ability and willingness to travel internationally

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in engineering management or related field of study; Semiconductor background highly preferred

Experience

Minimum of 5 years at Director level role or higher
