We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals and gain hands-on experience managing technical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent organizational skills and a passion for technology.
Make an Impact by:
Providing support and assistance to Lead IT Project Manager in managing overall project delivery that entails project management processes such as initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing project Supporting Lead IT Project Manager in managing and tracking project fundamentals such as budget, scope, schedule, deliverables, quality, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, constraints and project change management process Supporting Lead IT Project Manager in gathering inputs on regular basis for reporting project progress and project financial updates as well as ensuring relevant project information is kept up-to-date Supporting Lead IT Project Manager in contract and vendor management, procurement management and financial management Assisting Lead IT Project Manager in organizing key project activities and events such as project launches, project meetings, project workshops and project training sessions Assisting Lead IT Project Manager in preparing relevant project artefacts/documents to comply with Group IT Project Delivery Methodology, Group IT Governance and other relevant Group-wide organization processes, policies, standards and frameworks Assisting Lead IT Project Manager in preparing presentation materials for reporting key project updates to Executive Steering Committee, Project Steering Committee and Project Working Committee Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders as part of delivering project goals, including supporting Lead IT Project Manager in resolving project issues, addressing project risk mitigations/contingencies and settling project disputes Working with stakeholders to automate and document internal processes for more streamlined way of managing projects Supporting Lead IT Project Manager in requirements gathering and validation, solution development and testing, deployment, UAT and solution commissioning Work in an Agile environment (SCRUM) Assist technical projects which will touch languages and applications such as Java, Kubernetes, Azure, PostGresql and SpringbootSkills for Success:
Currently pursuing or a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field. Strong interest in project management and technology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
