About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations. We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure. Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

The position is within the  GMET Private Bank Development Team  and we are seeking a  Domain Architect  / Technical Lead with  strong hands-on experience in the development, design and review of critical applications within the Private Banking Domain .

You will lead and actively involved in the Governance and Project Lifecycle role especially during the solutioning, requirement gathering, design validations, project build and implementation. Working alongside with the Technology Delivery Manager (TDM) and other stakeholders such as System Analysts, Functional Business Analysts, and vendor partners to ensure the overall smooth delivery of application platform which complies with the architecture and design standards as per the defined solution design.

You will be responsible to:

Define the domain architecture for the Private Banking Domain, in alignment with Enterprise and Security Architecture and design principles Provides best practices and architecture principles and ensure solution architecture stays aligned with overall enterprise, domain and security architecture Accountable for overall Architecture of Private Banking Domain (including BAU projects, country builds and quarterly releases) and ensuring all solutions comply to architecture principles and architectural security requirements Lead and drive the project solution process, review and validate the initial high-level solution design together with the respective stakeholders (Enterprise Architect, Security Architect, Infra Architect, other Application Domain Architects) for Technology Architecture Governance reviews and approvals. Responsible for standardising and maintaining the application architecture across various bank applications within the domain as well as to recommend and facilitate the use of new technology for application improvement opportunities Partner with System Analyst to ensure technical design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards 

Job Requirements

Financial Technology background with experience in Private Banking/Wealth Management is highly preferred 10-15 years hands-on IT solution delivery experience including of experience in a similar solution architecture/technical lead role, with an excellent track record of delivery  Extensive and significant working experience as an architect/technical lead in large cross-functional teams or enterprise projects Excellent application analysis, design, system integration and code review skills in the Private Banking/Wealth Management Space Able to work independently, good interpersonal, influencing and communications skills with a resilient mindset Strong technical background in integration with a good understanding of API Microservices concepts, software design patterns, event-based processing and OCP based applications Experience in Java, OCP or Microservices based application development, knowledge, web-based/mobile development and Temenos Wealthsuite product such as EdgeConnect, TCIB, WUI, OData, TAP Core is a plus Experience in working with DevOps and Continuous integration with good understanding of n-Tier application architecture concepts Experience with process methodology, frameworks, development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall SDLC) preferred
