About the role

The Business Finance Intern will work closely with the Regional Finance Analyst on FP&A responsibilities to support ASPAC regional management decision making processes. This 6-month internship commences in July 2024.

What you will be doing

  • Assist in monthly ASPAC consolidated business financial reporting (key accounts, activity trends, trade lane analysis, operational analysis etc.)
  • Assist in financial reporting for Regional Singapore
  • Work closely with various departments (eg. Middle Office, Front Office, Management Information System, Business Intelligence) to provide ad-hoc analysis when needed
  • Coordinate with the Finance entity to ensure timely and accurate production of flash reports
  • Support region budget applications and processes (Activity Planner and Logistics Planner)
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by function

Requirements

The successful candidate

Essential

  • Undergraduate in Accountancy or other finance-related courses
  • Excellent communication skills and problem solving skills
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, with the ability to work with large data sets and complicated formulas
  • Willingness to understand the business


Desirable

  • Knowledge of Tableau and/or PowerBI
