CTRM Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CTRM (Commodity Trading and Risk Management) Consultant with a background in management consulting and deep expertise in commodity trading and oil / petroleum. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in advising clients on the implementation and optimization of CTRM systems, leveraging their management consulting skills to drive strategic initiatives and deliver effective solutions.
- Conduct detailed assessments of client needs and business processes related to commodity trading and risk management.
- Design and implement CTRM solutions that align with clients' strategic goals and operational requirements.
- Provide expert advice on best practices for commodity trading, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of CTRM systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including developers and business analysts, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the CTRM space.
- Assist in pre-sales activities, including preparing proposals and conducting product demonstrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, information technology, or a related field.
- Significant experience in oil / petroleum commodity trading and risk management or a related industry.
- Proven experience with leading CTRM software solutions (e.g., OpenLink, Allegro, TriplePoint, Eka).
- Strong understanding of the oil / petroleum industry and commodity markets, trading operations, and risk management principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Willingness to relocate to Singapore in the future and work in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
