Junior Procurement Officer – Singapore

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated supply chain professional to assist the Head of Procurement APAC. The candidate should possess knowledge in project procurement, supplier contract negotiation and have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.

The chosen candidate will be responsible to support the organization procurement and logistics in both direct and indirect purchases, working directly for Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong and China.

Support of projects to deliver procurement and logistics tasks and objectives to meet the organisation KPI are a key requirement in this role.

Additionally, this position requires independent working to support ad hoc tasks as required for the APAC region,

The successful candidate will join our Yunex Team and be based in our Singapore office at Raffles Place, reporting to Head of Procurement APAC.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Head of Procurement APAC in executing the procurement and logistics activities in APAC. Implement strategy and improvement plan across APAC. Perform RFQ process and work on 3rd party suppliers in tenders and execution projects in Singapore and Australia. Generate and maintain PVO reporting, KPI records. Being integral part of global procurement organisation in headquarter Germany. Collaborate with colleagues in the Australia, Hong Kong and China office on procurement topics.

The successful candidate demonstrates following experience & skills:

Degree/Diploma qualified in Supply Chain Management or with 1 to 2 years’ experience in procurement role preferred. Chinese language skill is preferred Able to work independently. Exceptional skills in MS offices Familiarity with Power BI or similar analytical tools, with experience on price benchmarking database and management. Positive attitude with a collaborative approach across diverse hierarchies and international teams. Strong communication skills and ability to build sound working relationships. Strong SAP skills or relevant ERP tools Proactive problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset. Willingness to grow with the business and take on leadership roles in the future. Ability to prioritize urgent and important tasks effectively. No travelling expected
