Responsibilities

Lead the curriculum development and implementation of training programmes to uphold highest standards of operational and technical competencies for staff.

Oversee the quality assurance of training programmes and drive training-needs-analysis in collaboration with operations units.

Oversee submission of related claims to SSG; e2i and/or WSQ-related.

Maintain good working relationship with the authority (SGBA) and stakeholders.

Drive pedagogic innovation and leverage on new technology and media to create engaging and effective learning experience.

Manage the professional development of trainers to enhance their competency and effectiveness as professional trainers.

Responsible for the assessment and qualification framework for trainers and trainees.

Lead and drive strategic projects to enhance training deliveries and training outcomes.

Manage all operations aspects of the departments (BTD).

Uphold stringent safety standards required of the trainers and trainees in BTD.

Undertake assigned projects and roles such as development of curated e-learning materials (Knowledge Library) and be the Roads Training Transformation secretariat.

Review and propose feasible business plans to improve financial margins within BTD.

Qualifications & Work Experience

Good knowledge of Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) Framework.

Preferably with ACTA certification.

Motivated and passionate about people development and able to inspire others.

Good communication skills, project management skills and leadership qualities.

Organised, meticulous and able to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

Preferably with knowledge of traffic safety requirements, training & development experience and Class 4/5 driving licence.
