We are recruiting for our client - one of the well known real estate owner/operator in the retail scene. 

Job Description

You will be part of the Retail leasing team based in Singapore, responsible for formulating and executing leasing strategies for properties within the retail portfolio. Highly sensitive to what is happening in the retail market, you will be able to identify market trends, capitalise on opportunities to secure new tenancies. This position calls for a highly-energetic, driven professional with a diverse industry network; possesses analytical, communication and collaboration skills as well as experience in leasing.

You will report to the Cluster Head, Leasing or Deputy Head, Leasing.

Responsible for leasing retail spaces in their Singapore portfolio Handle lease negotiations for new leases and renewals for portfolio assignedPlan and implement the tenancy mix for mallsSource and secure suitable tenants that fit into the desired tenant mix at the mallsHandle leasing enquiries and make necessary recommendation of retail spaces at the malls to prospectsWork closely with asset managers to achieve optimum mall occupancy/revenueWork with malls to constantly strengthen and refresh trade mix with new and exciting retail conceptsConduct market research to keep abreast of retail market and trendEstablish strong network with retailers and tenants

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Estate Management, Building or equivalentMinimum 5 years’ relevant experience in similar capacity in the retail industry Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skillsPossess good network of tenants and contactsSound understanding of the real estate and retail industries preferably in shopping complexSelf-motivated and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
