On behalf of one of its clients, a consulting company, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Construction Delay - Senior Associate / Manager
The company is a wholly independent international consulting firm providing advice to company management and shareholders for their strategic or critical decisions, notably in transactions, disputes, and crises.
The company's strength lies in connecting strategy, facts, and figures. Our teams are international and multicultural, combining various skills to provide bespoke services to our clients. We recruit our consultants from the best. The company is present in 13 countries in Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa and leads engagements all over the world.
Within the company, you will find yourself immersed in some of the most interesting disputes in complex engineering, construction, and infrastructure projects worldwide. As a key team member, you will play a vital role in supporting our teams by providing technical, analytical, and reporting assistance to a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from subcontractors to project owners. Your involvement extends from providing support and actively engaging in negotiations, all the way to helping in expert evidence during international arbitration and litigation proceedings.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing project schedules, progress reports, factual chronologies, and/or construction contracts. You can expect to be involved in project delay, disruption, and cost-overrun (quantum) analysis, reviews of actual versus forecast progress, and interpreting contracts, each of which will require your work to be summarized in presentations and reports addressed to clients, courts, and tribunals.

Your skills will be instrumental in summarizing your work into presentations and reports addressed to clients, courts, and tribunals.

We are committed to developing a long-term relationship with our employees, providing comprehensive on-the-job training as well as a competitive salary.
At the company, we aim to make your projects become a reality and will provide you with regular mentoring sessions where you will be able to openly discuss career progression, aspirations, performance, and promotions. We offer a wide range of enriching opportunities to our consultants such as secondments, sabbaticals, externships, and internal projects.
