Family Group: Allied Health**Job Scope**
- Patient recruitment for studies, including explanation of study, obtaining informed consent, documentation of logs
- Patient interviews and surveys
Ensure all study practices and procedures (including screening, recruitment, follow-up, specimen taking, data entry) are conducted in accordance with the study protocol, Good Clinical Practice, MOH Biosafety, other applicable regulatory / ethical requirements, standard operating procedures, and hospital policies
- Ensure timely submission of required documents to the Institutional Review Board.
- Liaise with relevant internal and external agencies to ensure successful implementation of clinical studies
- Prepare for site visits, audits, etc. by ensuring that all study files are complete and up to date
- Ensure safety of participants and report any adverse events to principal investigator promptly
- Sample collection
Proper handling and processing of biological specimens
- Extraction of data variables, including clinical, imaging, qualitative variables
Involves work with IT personnel to explore data extraction from Electronic Medical Records, PACS imaging systems
- Organising data into a dataset

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or degree in biomedical or biotechnology or a science related field
- Good computer knowledge
- Good interpersonal skills and enjoys direct person face to face contact
- Strong effective communicative skills
- Meticulous and thorough in procedures and documentation
- Willingness to take on new skills and explore new challenges
- Team player
